I was once a fan of Parker's steakhouse, but have determined that the steaks at Emerge are far superior. The Rib Eye I had was very tender and cooked to perfection. Included in the steak price is a sauce and a side. At Parker's this is an extra cost. Steak lovers should visit this estaglishment

Can't believe this guy. I had dinner one Saturday evening amd the food was quite good, the females serving were fine but went back for lunch on the Sunday and the bartender, while talkative and seemingly friendly tried to keep the $20 change. Had to tell him I gave him a $50 but I wasn't angry about it. He said "haha I ripped you off $20" which was obvious and I wasn't amused, neither did he say it in an amusing manner. Never engaged him in conversation after that, just ate and left. I've been back 3 time since amd each time he has been a complete sook and quite discourteous. I guess he must be feeling sad about being caught shortchanging a customer, but he really should get over it as he has made himself look like an absolute goose to me and I won't be back for more of his sooking attitude.Hi Jimtraveler44I can assure you the bartender was not trying to "rip you off", it was just an innocent error, as per his joking quip to you.

We loved eating here. The steakhouse had a great cellar feeling about it and the staff were friendly and attentive. The steaks were amazing and were cooked exactly as we asked for them to be and the sauces and sides were delicious too. The final bill, we felt, was very reasonable for the food and wine we received.

We booked dinner on Saturday night to celebrate a special occasion after having a very enjoyable experience last December celebrating a birthday. Upon arrival we discovered (bookings and website did not disclose this) that it has changed hands. It is NOT a French restaurant anymore. The menu was very simple, no french dishes, the wine choice very limited. Paid $49 for a scotch steak plus $6 extra for pepper sauce. Vegetables were not hot and steak not cooked as per request. Other guests experienced similar poor standard. Our beers (price $11) were served in a glass with Carlton on it which looked like a Coke glass you would buy from Mc Donalds When paying was asked How was the night. My reply ( and this is the first time I have been honest ) was this was not Parisien. We should have been informed. She informed me of the new name and I held up the receipt with Parisien Restaurant on top. She replied it takes a lot of time to change things over. Don't go
