Nice atmosphere and good foodNice casual place in a cute little alley. We had the fettuccine chicken portobello which was excellent. We also had the chorizo pizza, thin crust and very flavourful. We also tried the cubanette which was just ok. Lots of vegetarian options too. Our server was friendly and pleasant but it took forever for us to get our food, not sure if itâs always like that but it was quite busy.Though we didnât make it, they do have a happy hour from 3-6pm and 10pm to closing. Would recommend checking this place out, just donât go super hungry as it can take quite some time for the food to come out.

My first big dinner on my trip to Victoria was a grand success! The overall feel of Bodega was cozy but not overcrowded. sitting outside was definitely a good choice for the noise levels, but with the warm weather it was preferable anyway. We started the night off with the Bodega Board and mixed Olives, which were both good. I am a lover of Charcuterie Boards and this one although tasty, left a little room to desire. There was a great selection of meat and cheese, but the pickles served with the board we not enough. I feel like you need the sharpness of pickled vegetables to cut through the rest of the rich food, and unfortunately this was not the case. That was the only letdown for the entire evening, the rest of the night from the wine selection to the tapas were divine. We started our adventure with the Tosta De sardinas, which were full of flavor and texture. Then we moved onto the Ceviche, bold with citrus zest and perfectly plump pieces of scallop. Last but not least the Clams and Chorizo, not my favorite dish but still extremely lovely and a great balance of the sausage smoke in the beautifully steamed clams. Not to much food that we were stuffed, but for sure enough to feed the three of us sharing to satisfaction. A spot that I would go back to anytime I happen to be in Victoria.

Casual and inviting featuring an intimate bar area and beautiful mezzanine overlooking the Fort Common courtyard. The menu includes a variety of local dishes created with a Spanish influence, and served in the tapas style with the intention of sharing. Th
I had the Chorizo sandwich for lunch and it did not disappoint. The bun, Chorizo combo was perfect, the reno looks great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out for lunch and or their happy hour later on.
