Very good spot but expensive for the portion sizes. We came here with a local and it was restaurant week so we got to try a bunch of different items. The food was solid, service was good, but getting drinks took way to long. Interesting celebrity airing of Jason Seagal from the Show How I meet your Mother was there.

Quiet on Monday eve but the food and service was great. Tropical setting with happy hour til 6PM for discounted drinks and appetizers. Items were fairly authentic and tasty without being over spiced. Really enjoyed the black bean soup and their pineapple guacamole with those long plantain chips and of course the platano Maduro

When we went, it was a Saturday night and every table along the walls all the way to the back, and lining the inner dinning areas was filled with people. Any empty tables or seats were due to reservations already made. Food was very good, but costs a bit more than other Mexican places. Definitely try this place out at least once and decide for yourself.

This was my first visit to El Sitio but I will definitely be going back. This BYOB features South American cuisine. I had one of the Chef's Specials a beautiful piece of salmon stuffed with crabmeat and served over a generous portion of perfectly seasoned quinoa. That was after enjoying the Soup of the Day a Columbian Lentil Soup. The waiter was terrific and very knowledgeable about a really ambitious menu. This is a family owned business and the owners were born in Quito Ecuador so you are getting authentic recipes. We didn't have any children in our party but I noticed two offerings on the Kids Menu Chicken Fingers and Fries and Grilled Cheese and Fries in case you are wondering. It was a miserable snowy Saturday night but their dining room was still 80% full around 7 PM so I definitely recommend making a reservation.See for yourself why El Sitio was named in 25 Of The Best Restaurants In South Jersey.
