About as real as one can get! Real corn tortilla chips, fresh made salsa. We ordered the Fajita dinner with steak, chicken and shrimp which came with fresh guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, rice, lettuce and beans. The flavor was excellent! The menu offers vegetarian dinners and a kids menu. Nice selection of beverages, but no liquor. Beer and wine are available. One can dine in, order ahead, carry out or pick up at drive thru window. Really folks, some of the best Mexican fare we've had in a while. You have to try it.Service was excellent and we'd like to thank Irving, our waiter. Nice job, well done.

In town for the weekend and we had a hankering for some Mexican so we followed the recommendations of the other reviewers. The food was great. The seafood burrito was just what I hoped for. The margaritas were totally awesome. Good menu choices. Worth the trip. Lots of families were eating here. Reasonable prices.

We grabbed a late bite to eat here after a meeting on a Friday at about 9:15. They made it clear from the beginning that the kitchen was closing at 10, and it seemed like they really didnt want any more customers. I ordered the charcuterie and cheese board which had 5 selections for $26. We chose two meats and three cheese. The portions were a little skimpy considering the price and that I was sharing this with my wife. We eat like this all the time and five selections is usually plenty. To be fair we did not eat the bread that came with the board, and there was a generous amount of it. The wine selection is good and they even have a self serve option where you can try pours of several different wines. I just had a glass of house zin and it was fine. Overall it would have been a better experience if the staff was a little more chill and laid back. I mean, 10 PM on a Friday night isn't the time to be trying to move people along IMHO.Hello GlobalMogul,We're very sorry for your experience feeling rushed and unwelcome at Tapastrie. This is completely antithetical to our philosophy whereby everyone should have the same dining experience, regardless of the time they enter the restaurant.
