Very little of the food is actually custom prepared. By the nature of the menu, it is all done in advance and cannot be customized. Quality is variable- pernil, for example, can be delicious or overly fatty, depending on the luck of the scoop. Recently we had yucca fries that were not properly trimmed, and were partially inedible. If there is a band, as there often is, you will not be able to hear your conversation anyplace in the large restaurant- they are overmiked and not pleasant to listen to. That said, some of the food is very good for its genre, so add a star if you like Cuban food and own a pair of earplugs.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! It's disappointing we were not able to exceed your expectations. We offer a variety of dishes and sides for customization, and very much appreciate the chance to remake a dish if there's anything we can do to make your meal more enjoyable. We hope you'll come enjoy another Cuban meal with us again soon. Again thank you.Kylene S., Guest Relations Manager

Established in 1999 We are a Colombian Family Restaurant proudly serving customers since 1999. Our recipes are from our Grandparents' kitchen and ever since we opened, it has been a team effort. From our Chef all the way to our Dishwashers and Wait Staff,
1st time here. Atmosphere was disappointing, as was the odor in the restaurant. It was not inviting. I was about to leave, but decided to give their food a try. The chorizo was good. Disappointed it was additional. Many places include a chorizo with a bandeja typica. The main meal was a very good portion size and tasty. I did actually enjoy the food ... At home ... Don't think I could have enjoyed it as much there. Overall ... Good food ... Good portion size ... But I won't be back anytime soon.Greetins Dear Jalva1012,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.Let me first welcome you to our restaurant, you mentioned it was your first time visiting us. Please accept my sincere apologies for the unpleasant turnout. Our food portions like you mentioned are hefty and our version of Bandeja Paisa includes Grilled Steak, a meaty piece of Pork Skin, Fried egg, Corn Cake, Sweet Plantain, Avocado, Rice and Beans. All of that for $15.25, normally this dish fees a family of 3!Including a portion of Chorizo which translates to Pork Sausage would be double jeopardy, the Bandeja Tipica is already served with a tasty piece of Pork meat.As far as the odor, I apologize again. I can share with you that this past Monday May 2nd during the early hours of the morning we had our monthly grease trap cleaning and perhaps some of the vapors lingered. We take all of our customers reviews very seriously. That's why I'd like you to know that from this point on we will make sure we schedule all of our cleaning and maintenance procedures at strategic times so they won't have any negative effect in our daily operations.Once again, thank you for your patronage. If you are willing to grant us a second chance to enjoy the rest of our menu, we would be honored to host you.

I had the Bandeja (Typical Platter) and my wife had a churrasco, it is some of the best Colombian food I have eaten in a long time. The steak was seasoned to perfection and not overcooked, the rice was just right, which means not bland,I will definitely come back and try other things. PS A packed parking lot is a good sign of good food

This place is a little different than most of the GC restaurants, but in a good way. Have wide variety of wines, many by the glass. They now also serve beer. We like to design our own board to start (meats and cheeses). Then share a few tapas that offer a nice variety and are all delicious. Always save room for coffee and dessert. Interesting place. Perhaps a little pricey
