Calle Latina

We stopped here for lunch after looking at the window menu that had affordable various Latin foods. The place is quaint with a nice atmosphere and some outdoor seating. We ordered the mushroom queso fundido, beef and pork shoulder empanadas, and the ropa vieja that came with black beans and rice. They also had an awesome sangria drink special going on and it was my first time not being disappointed with the drink. Many places I've been to have made the sangria way too weak or filled the glasses with 90% ice cubes, not the case here. All the food was tasty, but definitely their queso was one of a kind. Eating it made you feel like you were in a Latin country. The empanadas were also good, only possible change I'd want is to make them spicy and more juicy inside. The ropa vieja was also very good, but a little too pricy for the portion size. I'd definitely return if only to get that amazing dip and maybe a couple empanadas.

It's very nice to approach a restaurant for the first time and find it really buzzing with tables of patrons outside and in. We were lucky to sit in the window. I loved the decorations - so much detail everywhere you looked - well done! Service was pleasing and we enjoyed our drinks and snacks. Thank you for a memorable experience.

We stopped in for a late lunch. We tried Marlow’s but no one came to seat us,so we wandered through the shopping area to the place that was once our favorite Bonefish. We discovered Papi’s....we were immediately acknowledged, seated and delightfully served a delicious meal by Selina N. The vegetable plate is magnificent . Flavorful and sumptuous!!We are thrilled to find this wonderful place! We will be back!!!!
