Friends took us to El Rancho after church. We all got something different and all was tasty. I ordered one of my favs...the gluten free fajita taco salad. Delicious and filling. My husband tried sonething new, the juevos rancheros, also very good. This family run restaurant gives good sized portions, variety, and good service. We are happy to support them not only because the food is good, but these people give back to the community by amnually offering free meals at their restaurant at Christmas! It is not a fancy place, but welcoming, and you leave full! Try it! They make their own El Rancho brand salsa, which you can buy at the restaurant or in the liocal gricery store.

This place makes the absolute best steak finger baskets. They have many different items but these are my favorite. My wife loves their cherry-limeade......homemade and simply the best!!!

Quick service Mexican restaurant with a Tex Mex twist. We are the Official Hometown Tacotorium for Portales, New Mexico. We have been serving the area since 1969.
This little drive-through apparently has been around forever. My wife bought food here since she was a kid. Anyway, we bought some tacos and burritos. All were fresh and tasty. The sauce is a little spicy but not too bad. Definitely lived up to its name. Thanks for the review. We are in our 50th year, so not quite "forever" but close. Appreciate the comments and welcome the opportunity to serve you in the future.

We really love the food here. I had the Seafood Vera Cruz plate, with generous portions of shrimp and fish, with a very tasty (but not too hot) red chili sauce. My wife had the Chorizo and eggs, which was also excellent. The atmosphere and service were also quite good, and the prices very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. They also have a place in Clovis with the same menu.
