Obviously âdiscoveredâ by numerous other reviewers, this off the beaten track restaurant is a notch above the typical Lucchese osteria. If youâre seeking bistecca fiorentina, this is NOT the place for you. There are plenty of great options in the immediate vicinity that wonât disappoint. On the other hand, if youâre in the mood for contemporary Sicilian cuisine that combines the advantage of the abundance of fresh Tuscan ingredients and great presentation, by all means seek out Ristorante la Norma. From the tiny exterior, it seems impossible that youâll even get a table without booking well in advance, but the narrow entryway opens into a large main dining room with generously spaced tables. Other reviews have extolled on the various dishes on offer, so thereâs no need to belabor the point; but I must say that the starter of potato soup with squid ink, olive oil, and truffle is not something Iâd have ever thought to order, but is the best thing Iâve put in my mouth this year.

Pizza was exelant. We found a place by accident, and were very happy with it. They made me a vegan pizza by request. Prices are very affordable. Much cheaper than Domino's in the Netherlands. Atmosphere was really good and staff is so very nice and friendly!
