Roosters took over where Towne used to be. Basically same set up. The tables are all solid pieces of wood which is cool. We started with deviled eggs. excellent. The entrees were very good. Wine selection was nice. We had a very nice Pinot Noir.Service was a little difficult with only one server@nickellfamilytravel

Restaurant and boutique hotel in Carbondale, CO, serving farm focused and locally sourced food inspired by the community. Come home, stay awhile.
We have visited this place in previous incarnations, which were good. This is an even better alternative, because the chef appears to be a genius. There is plenty of parking and both inside and outside seating. The service is prompt and friendly. Be prepared to wait for your meal, because they take a great deal of care with it. We were astounded at the quality of the food we got at a sub-Aspen price.

A creature of habit, I generally order the same thing every time: three taco plate. With a side of fried plantains, served with black beans and sour cream. My absolute favorite indulgence (except maybe chocolate anything). I don't know why they add the beans and sour cream but they go quite well with the plantains, so I'm not complaining. This place is small and totally not fancy. Don't expect to run in and out - everything is cooked to order, so there is a bit of a wait. Food is Salvadoran inspired and so far, quite tasty. Maybe next time, I'll branch out into an enchilada?
