After getting tired of Vietnamese and taking a break, I recently came back and ordered some carry-out here -- still as good as before. Fresh ingredients, freshly prepared, clearly home-made. Absolutely delicious. Having seen some other Vietnamese restaurants that were not so nice, I'm bumping my rating up to 5 stars.

The restaurant recently moved to a clean and brighter space adjacent to the old location. It has more of an airy coffee shop vibe. Much nicer, brighter and larger than the previous location. The menu is authentic and extensive. The bahn mi sandwiches were filling and easy with fresh ingredients. The beef pho was good and filling with plenty of side basil, bean shoots and condiments/sauces available. The large size pho was under $10. There is plenty of free parking. Will go again. Not far from Trinity College and right in front of the A Dong asian market. Not to be confused with the Pho Boston, which is in the A Dong plaza!

Hall's Kitchen is part of a two-building business: the Kitchen with take-out food and the Market next door. In between the two there is a little brick walk with a couple outdoor tables. The Kitchen has many, many different refrigerated and frozen cooked meals, sides, soups, wraps and sandwiches, nice fresh salads, and desserts. They recently added a sort of hot food bar with $5 meals that change each day. Look at their website for the menu. The market has a deli that makes custom sandwiches and wraps and also sells many other entrée and side-order items. The deli meats and cheeses are high-quality. Most of the meals that I have ordered here have been good or great; a few things I didn't like, but not many. (I especially love the store-made cookies and the sweet and sour meatballs -- yum.) At lunch time, you won't usually have to wait at the Kitchen, but there can be a wait (maybe up to ten minutes) at the Market deli. Two parking lots: one on the east side of the market with access from Park Road, and one behind the Kitchen and Park Lane Pizza, the easiest entry to it being off of Quaker Lane.
