Good cheap local food. We shared a table with some locals and they were really nice to explain to us what the different dishes were exactly. They donât have many vegetarian options but they helped us find something. We got a huuge serving of really tasty food.

This restaurant has the most popular dishes from the City of Arequipa. They have the tradition to have the soups by day of the week as it is the tradition in Arequipa.The Rocoto relleno, "stuffed hot pepper" one of my favorites was "spicy" enough and the meat was great.We tried the soup called "Chairo" delicious soup with different type of meats and flavored herbs, in addition with the local squash.

Not exactly cheapânot exactly expensive; but a good seafood place, at the trendy, little strip on Calle San Francisco. Service is good, too, but the evening atmosphere, at the outside tables, on the sidewalk, is so, so pleasant. When in Arequipa, this restaurant, as well as "La Italiana", next door, is a great choice for dining.
