We spent a lovely day in Rye, a trip to the Castle, meandering along the cobbled streets taking in all the individual shops, cafe's and places of interest. We had researched places to eat before we went and managed to find Marino's amongst the beautiful tiny streets. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious, freshly cooked and served by attentive staff. It was reasonably priced and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant/take away.

We stayed in Rye recently and Webbes was recommended to us, we are SO glad we listened! This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been toThis place has everything just right. Warm welcoming staff who had that rare combination of being friendly without going too far and a wonderfully knowledgeable and enthusiastic manageress. Lovely simple but very tasteful decor. Highly imaginative cocktails and a wine list that didn't break the bank. Not an overly extensive menu but some really nice and unusual options. Now - the food was FANTASTIC, every thing perfectly cooked and beautifully presented, decent portions too.The fact that Rye is not a huge place and this was a Tuesday evening, it was full - that surely says it all.I just wish they had a similar restaurant closer to homeThank you

Here at Maggie's we're in our third decade of serving you hearty portions of the freshest fish, cooked to order, in a warm and welcoming cafe - the same traditional family-friendly approach as when Margaret Banfield first put her name above the door. We'r
Best fish and chips in Hastings in my view. Visited frequently over the last few years, Maggie's provided superbly cooked fresh fish (crispy exterior and melting inside) with a minimum od fuss. Charming service, and outside seating with views of the beach and net huts on a nice day.
