Made the trip back out to the Red Lobster in West Mifflin area again for the yearly Lobster Fest, Turns out they either are running low on supply or someone is squeezing the budget down to nothing! Last year I had a plate so full of food it was amazing, If you remember my title was " Eyes hold more then the belly can " This year...What happened? The plate was so empty that I thought they forgot something or the cook was running out of food, I mean come on!! I ordered the Dueling Lobster Tails Which where 2 different kinds of lobster tails, mashed potatoes, green beans, a crab mixture in with some more lobster and last but not least lobster mac & cheese. Lets start with the price, $30.99 for the plate, The 2 lobster tails where no larger than jumbo prawns, The main lobster was great as usual, the other tail...lets just say not so good, They gave me 9 noodles for the mac & cheese with no lobster, a table spoon full of mashed potatoes, and a separate plate " full " of over cooked green beans when there was plenty of room on the empty plate of food they served me for a normal portion of green beans, My wife even mentioned that the separate plate was a little out of hand specially the portion size!! I came there for the LOBSTER FEST not the GREEN BEAN FEST!!....I will say the food was very tasty as always The biscuits are still the bomb! and the frozen drink " Bahama Mama " was very tasty a little weak on alcohol for $6.99 a glass but tasty. The waitress was as pleasant as an angel Ashley W. is her name and I would ask for her again specifically. Very nice girl! My wife ordered chicken, She is not a sea food person at all, A salad, chicken fingers and a very normal size portion of green beans came to $9.79 Now that is ridiculous. All I can say is if you call it a FEST you better have plenty of food to put on the table in front of your customers because what I was given this evening was not even close! Now it makes me wonder if I will return next year to that location. A couple sitting close by us had a problem with their meal as well, items where missing and his portions made mine look big! Let's just say their where a few disappointed customers tonight.

I've visited this location a number of times since it's right down the street from me. I usually order there fried clams to go and have never been disappointed in their quantities or quality. Just good fried food, pardon the oxymoron, but for a firehouse, they do a great job with their tiny kitchen and orders to go.

My wife and I arrived at around 5 to celebrate her birthday. We were greeted immediately and seated immediately cuz we had reservations. Although at 5 time you should not have any problem even without the reservation. We decided to sit at the bar because the happy hour specials were not available in the dining room. Our server / bartender was very nice and very cordial and answered our questions that we had asked about the menu. He made a recommendation for dinner for me and it was excellent. The prices are upscale. But from what we got, they were definitely in line. The atmosphere in the place is very nice, background music is kept very low, and of course so was the lighting. You also have a choice of dining outside if the weather is not too hot and humid. When we mentioned to the bartender that we were celebrating a birthday. He said well that's worth a free dessert. This was unexpected, and very nice and appreciated. We are from out of town, state of Washington, and the next time we arrive in Pittsburgh we will definitely come here again to enjoy a nice dinner.
