we have become regular customers at Sheffs fish and chips both at the take away and sit down restaurant attached. The staff are always friendly, professional and efficient. The portions are more than generous. It's good value ,wholesome ,good quality food.We highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful time at this traditional village pub. Excellent selection of drinks served by friendly staff (Stef and Krystle), delicious food cooked to perfection courtesy of chef Leigh. I felt really sorry for the young staff members Toni, Elesha and Charlie, who were working outside on the bbq in the searing heat (over 30°), all of whom didn't seem to have a break at all . Would highly recommend this establishment to everyone, well worth a try

This is our favourite Indian and it has become tradition to go here for our family birthday celebrations. Last night we went there to celebrate my 50th and it was wonderful.The food was amazing and the staff were first class!!! Thank you for making our evening so soecial

Annual visit to Hitchin and this has to be the restaurant of choice. Again, an excellent meal. My wife had a Vegetarian option and I opted for Plaice with Prawns and a Spinach side dish. Arguably a little expensive compared with many restaurants but, in truth, value for money.Thank you for your review and feedback.
