This is a good place to stop and eat your meal both inside or out. There is mooring for boaters, and lots of parking in the town. There fish and chips are probably the best you will get anywhere in the town. Service and welcome very good.

I had a vegetable burger. The "salad" was one limp lettuce leaf.My wife had a piece of rock. This was very greasy and the fish was undercooked. Not recommended.
I have used most of the seven chip shops in March, and frankly the haddock in this shop is the best of any local shop by far for flavour freshness and the crispness and finesse of their batter. Originally a chinese couple, I think, but much the nicest fish and chips in March in my opinion. My wife and daughter were also well pleased on a recent visit too. Not the flashiest, smaller than Stott's and in a less beautiful location than Riverside, for instance and in a less good location, but very well worth a visit if you really love fish and chips, especially haddock, which I consider superior to cod.
We loved the chippy in Dodington, and were worried when it shut. The new owners have worked really hard to make sure there is variety on offer.. But not lose the fact that it is all about the chips!☺
