Opened in 1975 Serving Choice Angus Steaks and Prime Rib, Prime Pork Chops,Seafood, Chicken and Veal, and Authentic Old World Italian Entrees.
I met up with several friends for lunch at Cammarata's Restaurant. The service was fine, the menu is huge and there were a LOT of specials to choose from. I had a Chicken Pittsburgh Salad which was so big that I took enough home for supper. It came with a large piece of garlic toast. Everyone at my table was pleased with their lunch. I am sure we will return.
Lovinâ Spoonful (AKA Norb has opinions on everything) Restaurant Division smile emoticon Montondoâs Seafood. Todayâs review isnât a restaurant in the strictest sense of the word because there isnât anywhere to eat at their place but is still a place to get good food. I have been a customer of theirs since the 70âs. My wife and I lived in Massachusetts for a few years and appreciate fresh seafood, in fact I used to go to the piers where the fishing boats would come in to buy seafood directly from the fisheries. Montondo's Seafood was established January 15, 1917 by Frank Montondo at 23 Main St. As the business grew it moved several times until 1963 when it moved to the current location at 201 East Ave., Lockport, New York. In 1941, his daughter Arlene and husband Howard Hobbs took over the business. At this time the company began to sell to area restaurants. In 2009, Robert Luff became sole owner and President of Montondo's Seafood. Robert began his career at Montondo's in 1973 while still in high school and continued his employment through college. Robert became a partner and Vice President in 1999, fully purchasing the business in 2009. Montondo's wholesale division continues to expand now serving over 500 restaurants, institutions and wholesalers all over Western New York. I have reviewed several restaurants that brag their sea food comes from Montondo's. Their success has been built on quality products and friendly helpful service. The management feels fortunate to have reliable, concerned employees whose aim it is to please the customer and who have helped them attain more than 95 successful years in business. From the modest beginnings of Montondo's Fish & Oyster Market on Main Street in Lockport to their present modern retail facility on East Avenue and wholesale facility on Ann Street, they have strived to make their customers the number one priority. My wife and I ordered 2 fried oyster dinners just because you canât get a good fried oyster dinner anywhere in Lockport that I know of. It comes with slaw and fries but they have several sides you can substitute for these. We opted for potato salad which was creamy and had a good taste on one of the dinners and Mac and cheese on the other in place of the fries. The mac and cheese reminded me of the cheesy, creamy side we used to get at Boston Market in Amherst and she loved the potato salad. We both had plenty of food (I think we had a dozen oysters each). Parking is a bit of a problem on East Avenue but they have plenty of additional parking in back. Montondoâs is just one of Lockportâs traditions and for good reason. I give them a 9 out of 10. My only complaint is I wish the oyster dinners were a bit less expensive but I do understand quality doesnât come cheap.
Lockport's Most Scenic Dining Come enjoy the tasteful pub food and amazing view that Willowbrook offers. Whether inside looking through our large windows or sitting on one of our outdoor patios our quiet and beautiful setting will allow you and your guest
The restaurant is popular with golfers and the locals especially those living on/ next to course especially on Fridays for fish fry.First, young hostess was seating parties of 2 at larger patio tables rather than bigger groups. She did nothing else other than provide menus. Before being seated, we ordered drinks at the bar and requested them delivered to our table. After 15 mins and no drinks, as well as no server approaching to take our dinner order, query made at bar and drinks were finally brought out. Told the server we were ready to place our food order and she said she would gave to get someone as she already had 6 tables working. Finally, almost 10 min later a server appeared and immediately apologised & thanked us for bring patient. Orders were placed and she put a priority on the 4 fish dinners as they were out in short order and were delicious. She did a good job in turning a bad experience into us returning for dinner again. our drink order, decided to order at the bar. Server behind bar said she would have someone deliver our drinks.

My wife and I have gone here twice this month. On our first trip we were pleasantly surprised the quality of the food had improved and the general touches had been ratcheted up a step or two with a better fish for salad and let eff soda glasses. Based on that experience, my wife and I went here for dinner on Saturday, 7/29. The inside dining room was reserved for a party who appeared to be bringing in their own food, so we can't attribute our experience to being super busy. We arrived at about 6:15 and it took a while to be acknowledged. No problem, the server did have other tables going. Once we ordered, our food came out in a reasonable time, however. I was surprised when our dinners arrived and my salad did not. When I reminded our server that so had ordered a salad, she said, "I know, I made it and just have to bring it out." All right, not the end of the world but a little off kilter from what is normally expected. Then came the challenge of getting our check. We asked three times for it. First time, the server had to take a drink order from a number of people who she apparently knew as they had to catch up for a while. Second time she said ok but then continued going elsewhere. Finally, after waiting 30 minutes, she brought our church and cashed us out. We will probably go back but it Won't be on a Saturday.
