Went to celebrate my fathers 80th today...I ordered the roast leg of lamb with mushrooms and rice.Oh my!! What appeared on my plate was so similar in looks and taste to a microwave mushy meal...the rice was full of the mushroom liquid and the mushrooms were overlooked and rubbery. There was plenty of them...probably to compensate for the tasteless lamb...disgraceful.

Group of eleven chose this for our celebration meal. Quite pricy but food excellent. Service very good and friendly. Waiter had no problem with each person paying separately. I had braised steak and garlic potatoes followed by apple and plum tart with local ice cream - delicious. Some people would have preferred their meals a little warmer. Place was busy so obviously popular. Would go again for a special occasion as not cheap. Thanks for taking the time to review us. Hope to see you again on your next special occasion

We've been to the West End a number of times and highly recommend this restaurant for most items. The fish and chips are superb: fresh, lightly battered and large portions. The calamari and Thai fish cake are also excellent. On the other hand, the prawns were too heavily battered for our tastes. In addition, be aware that prices are significantly higher if you eat in.
