My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting the orangery @ number 42 ,whilst staying in Kegworth. This newly opened restaurant with its modern and elegant surrounding where one can enjoy modern local art, was a real surprise. Andy, the chef showed a real passion for the food on offer,with several unusual twists. Husband enjoyed the most succulent fillet steak, cooked to his liking and he was blown away with the mushroom ketchup and the confit tomato. I had a moist salmon with the most luxurious crab and cream sauce . There was no rush in getting us to finish our courses, appreciated this as it gave us the opportunity to enjoy our meal at a sedate pace. Certainly worth a visit ! Many thanks for your genuine review, we and all the staff appreciate your kind words and custom. We very much look forward you visiting us again very soon.

This fish and chip shop in the heart of the thriving Borough Street in Castle Donington supplies very good quality fresh fish and chips burgers pizzas and all the usual accompaniments at reasonable prices. There is outdoor seating for lunch or a nice place to sit and eat your early evening meal.

We ordered our meal at the same time as two other tables and by the time we got ours the 1st table had finished their's and were paying! Service was appalling, even though it wasn't particularly busy, with two young girls who obviously didn't want to be working. Food as good as ever when we eventually got it.

Given a lot of the reviews that we had read we were both somewhat disappointed by our meal. Compared to other Indian restaurants local to us in Milton Keynes this would have been more pricey but less authentic or satisfying. The restaurant is pretty tired, service was good but much of the food was bland.
