We chose this restaurant for a quiet birthday celebration, on the strength of recent reviews, but were disappointed. The ambience was nothing like the photos would suggest and the food was fairly bland. Due to seafood allergies, we chose the steamed chicken with vegetables, and the fillet steak Chinese style. The service was OK - though nothing special. Being a Monday night, our restaurant options for our local area were rather limited. Based on our experience and menu selections, reluctant to recommend for a fine dining experience or special occasion.

The yum char in this place is really good! The restaurant is big enough so there is not a huge queue waiting and the service is better than the other yumchar restaurants. The parking is also convenient. Great location for yumchar and easy to get to.

It's among the most popular restaurants in Sydney for location, ample parking and food variety from dim sum to Cantonese dishes. The restaurant is not small but also not the most comfortable with narrow passage way in between tables. Service was average.What you get is wide choice of dishes and fast service even when it was crowded.There is a lift for wheelchair to reach the upper floor if lower floor is filled.

King Fook Seafood Restaurant took over the site formerly occupied by Excellent Seafood Restaurant. We used to come here quite often many years ago when we lived in Carlingford. Looking for nostalgia we returned this evening for dinner. But we were somewhat disappointed to see the new management/owner had failed to rejuvenate the former glory of Excellent Seafood Restaurant in its earlier heyday. On this Friday evening, less than one third of the tables were occupied. Yet, four large tables seating ten or more each were occupied by tourists coming from Mainland China. The three dishes (two fish dishes and one clam dish) we had were very oily and we could not finish them all. Somewhat disappointed.
