We stayed in Carlton-sur-mer, a little sea ressort town, in which you never ever such a good restaurant. The view frm the terrase is very nice, the sevice cmpetent and friendly (not a combination we have encountered too often) and menu and cooking marvelous. They know that quantiti is bad substitute for quakity - and value quality, also with the side-dishes. Congratulations!

2 Restaurants on-site at the Hostellerie Baie Bleue: Pub St-Joseph (resto-pub sportif with specialty of seafood and meats on the grill) La Seigneurie (fine regional cuisine, mixology, tapas tasting menu, tartar, mussels & fries at will, oysters, signature
Had lunch at this pib/restaurant. $25 seafood lunch was not very good as it was greasy and average at best. My guests also found their food average and expensive. The atmosphere is very much a pub. I would not rush back to this restaurant.

The bistro le frigidaire is the most beautiful and best restaurant in town. menu specializing in fresh fish and seafood. it is also the only oyster bar in gaspésie with more than twenty varieties of oysters. trendy cuisine. eclate cocktail. wine list sele
Désolé, je besoin écrire en anglais. As if dining in Québec wasn't already a wonderful experience, we stopped at Bistro Le Frigidaire and had an absolutely stunning meal. This is a small, high-end restaurant, so I would recommend reservations, especially for dinner. They have some really exceptional drinks. Get the smoked whiskey with the apple in it, its truly outstanding. The seafood comes from many places in the Gaspesie, and some of it comes from only a few hundred yards away in Chaleur Bay. The snow crab was great, the smoked oysters were great, the seafood poutine was possibly the best poutine in Canada. Service was nothing short of outstanding, (Merci beaucoup Camille). Not enough superlatives to describe how good it was. Worth every penny (or loonie). We can't wait to go back.

We ate dinner here, which we enjoyed, and noticed the breakfast menu looked pretty good (and a decent brekkie cost only slightly more than the continental breakfast our hotel offered for $6 each). Anyway, excellent breakfast/brunch. I was tired of eggs/bacon/ham so ordered the yoghurt fruit option - I was not expecting a sundae glass of yoghurt/fruit/granola and apparently maple syrup - plus toast & a bagel - but I ate the whole thing!
