Looking for a good beef this is the place in Borås. You choose the piece of meat you want and then add the extras as you want or how hungry you are. Beef is worth waiting for. Sadly the service is not as good as the beef.

Yes, I know - this is the hotel restaurant for a Best Western. No doubt it is quite normal to assume that the food here will involve Caesar salad and maybe, I dunno, a burger. Well, this is not your Marriott/Hyatt Hotel international standard eaterie, although you could probably have a Caesar salad if you wanted. You could equally have all sorts of other foods; schnitzel, steak, roast meats, finely cooked fish, no doubt veggie items as well. The wine here is good, too. Yes, it's all a little expensive, because this is Sweden and Sweden is not cheap, but this restaurant is not unusually expensive and frankly it's a nice place to be. Good conversation and good food - oh, and there's a candle on every table. What more can one ask?

Vi hade ett boråshäfte och gick dit och åt. Var lite tveksam först men blev mkt positivt överraskad! Fantastiskt god torsk!

Orangeriet is a beautiful building located in Stadsparken. You can eat food here, but I didn't think that the food was something special.
