We came to this place as a recommendation but we have been a bit disappointed. We ordered 1 prawns and clams started and to burgers. The starter was good. The burger had potential for more. Pro:Friendly staff and good food presentationCon:Interior of the restaurant. The red velvet seats and booths are not to everyone's taste. The burger had a good meat but the other ingredients did not balance on the burger. Good afternoon MattmanLondon,Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your burger as we strive to create the best homemade burgers in the area. If you are ever in the locality again please do call in and maybe try another one of our burgers, we have 9 on the menu :)Regards DevonAssistant Manager

I'm not quite sure why some of the previous reviews are so poor, while I wouldn't say the food was any better than average, I certainly world have no problem eating here again. Look, they won't be winning any Michelin stars or anything, but it's s perfectly good bar food; burgers, chicken gujons, chicken, fish and the like. It's a pub so obviously it has a full bar. Very friendly staff and I was served really promptly. Somewhere between three and four stars I'd say.

Very nice food in front of a roaring fire. Lovely atmosphete inside, really cosy. Service was really, really friendly and prompt.Decent menu too with a variety of soups, snacks, burgers, pastas etc. I had the burger and it was really delicious and accompanied by massive, thick fries.Prices are very reasonable too. Plenty of parking outside and it's right on the main Trim to Dublin road a few minutes outside Trim tlen. I've been meaning to call in for a while now as I'm often passing. Really glad I did and I'll be doing it again soon too!
We popped in for a quick drink but ended up staying nearly 3 hours. We went on a Wed night and loved listening to the traditional Irish music. Everyone was very friendly and I was dancing the minute I walked into the pub. We had a fantastic evening and can't wait to go back next time we are in Ireland.
