GPS users: this restaurant is on Pitney Street; turn on Pitney Street; our GPS incorrectly directed us to a nearby strip mall.Excellent service by the friendly Kristi.Great decor and vibe; comfortable padded seats indoors. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.I highly recommend the black bean veggie burger with melted sharp cheddar. Green peppers, onions and corn are mixed into the patty, making it MOIST and flavorful. I recommend a salad on the side instead of the chips, since the burger itself was very moist and didn't call for more grease on the side. I think I paid extra to substitute the salad for the chips. I requested the garlic mayo on the side and didn't need to use it.The hard cider on tap was excellent and paired well with the veggie burger.Assortment of board games available.

Donât want to insult locals who enjoy out of nostalgia or convenience (apparently some per other TA reviewers). We stopped off the highway where McDs was the only other option. Many wing options but it felt like a frat house vibe - very dated, not clean (not wanting to think about kitchen), sticky menus, bathrooms where you must squat. Very basic - no celery or carrots. Friendly but slow service. May be fun place to catch a local game on tv at the bar.

Host/waiter was very prompt, cordial, knowledgeable and always there with a refill. Food (buffalo chicken rangoons, pot roast, and Rail house chicken) was excellent. Meal was paced perfectly, and the portions were quite ample and generous. Prices were very reasonable.Evidently someone at this place cares deeply about their patrons and reputation.
My wife and I tried the new The Blackburn 1897 for a Friday night dinner recently. The owner of Chacona's diner has opened this attached restaurant. We had such a great dinner and nice time. We both had the Delmonico steak with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was a very nice cut and cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were outstanding and the green beans were done just right. The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The owner stopped by to make sure everything was ok and be made the rounds to the other tables throughout the evening. The restaurant has two sides, a bar area with high top tables and a dining area with booth seating for a more private dinner. After dinner, we had a drink at the bar and enjoyed talking with the bar tender who was very personable. It was a great evening. We'll definitely be back!
