Booked and asked for a nice Table, as it was our 55th Wedding Anniversary. When we got there and mentionedthe Name I booked under, to our surprise 3 mature Gentlemen appeared and gave us the royal treatment, leading us to a Table near the Window. it had a whiteTablecloth, 2 Champagne Glasses with serviettes and aDinner Setting for two. James introduced himself to us and told us he would look after us for the Rest of the Evening. True to his Word we where looked after likeroyalty for the Evening. Pumpkin Soup, Garlic Bread,Eye fillet, done to perfection made our Evening specialindeed. The best Service was made by those matureGentlemen, a lot more Restaurants should employ theexperienced older Generation, they do them self proud.Thank you so much for a lovely Evening.Thank you so much for writing such a great review! What happened to service, restaurant staff at hotel Sorrento are so busy talking amongst themselves they forget about their customers. Really poor food at breakfast, no tea bags and staff that donât know the meaning of service. What are they there for ????? Wonât dine there again.Hello MichelleThank you for your detailed feedback. It is important for us to receive all feedback to ensure we are constantly reviewing and improving the services we provide to our guests. We can assure you we continue to receive great feedback regarding our service quality, so it is even more important we receive information regarding your experience at breakfast so we can tailor our offering and amend our processes as required. We have also recently extended our breakfast offering to include an a la carte menu Monday-Friday which has been very well received. We hope that you return to experience Hotel Sorrento as it is intended and thank you again for your feedback.Warm regards,Hotel Sorrento

Beautiful pub but felt like we were a hindrance to staff. We were asked to be quiet in the TAB area when races were on which is fair enough, however we were the only group in the TAB at the time. Also felt like we were getting in the way when it came to ordering food. Planned on spending the day there but decided to wrap things up after a couple of hours and head back to the accomodation to watch the football instead. Wonât be going back in a hurry.
