I stopped here for dinner and left unimpressed. Wiltseâs had Octoberfest specials. I wasnât impressed. The Wiener schnitzel was over cooked and over priced. We had loaded Mac and cheese. The pork was good but the Mac and cheese was bland. The waitstaff was friendly and the food was served promptly but I just felt it was overpriced and underwhelming.

We stopped here twice, the first time just for a drink and Pollock bites (yummy), We came back the next day for lunch. Enjoyed their onion rings (good, but not even close to Red Rooster's Onion Rings!), hamburgers (really good, but not as good as Hilltop's). This is a very comfortable place to hang out and enjoy good food and excellent service without breaking the bank. If I lived closer I would be a regular here.

First time here while up visiting friends who live locally. Kind of a mixed bar / restaurant environment. Definitely a big bar with all the TVs going, but also about 15 or so tables. Definitely family friendly, but I imagine it might change a bit later into the night. I think we got there around 6pm and there were a few tables available. I noticed later that it had filled up and people were waiting for tables. The service was very good considering how busy it became. I had a gyro that was very good. Would definitely recommend.
Oscoda Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Oscoda
We had dinner since this was the only restaurant close. The other options are mostly fast food in Oscoda. We had a nice waitress, and thought the menu looked okay. Unfortunately, when we got our meal, it was really not good. The food was badly overdone. My wife had the perch, which came with veggies. I had the chicken breast with asparagus and a seafood topping. Mine tasted okay but the chicken was so overdone that the waitress brought me a steak knife to cut it. My wife's perch had a peppery taste -- again, not good. The meal comes with a very modest salad bar which was okay. At least things there were fresh. Overall the food was really disappointing. The best thing about the place was our waitress Katie who was friendly and as helpful as possible.
