We went with friends. Service was fine and went downhill from there. The Fish and Chips is deep friend Cod w/Fries and is overly tasteless. The Patty Melt was burnt and not good. Our friends has burgers which seemed to be OK, but nothing special. Overall, the hype is there, but the food is seriously lacking.

We had heard from a local that this was a good restaurant, but wondered why anyone would drive 30 miles to get there. We took the 30 mile drive while sightseeing and just happened onto the restaurant. Certainly a more upscale feel than most of what we found on the island and we really enjoyed it.

We made the mistake of going there the night they were running a Burger and Brew Special. We wanted a regular meal from the menu. Our mistake, obviously the kitchen couldn't handle the variance. I ordered the Filet Oscar. Probably one of the worst Fillets I have ever had. Tough ans grisly. The amount of Crab was embarrassing. My wife had the Mac and Cheese with Crab, again amount of Crab was embarrassing and the Mac and Cheese wasn't that good.
We were visiting Kodiac and dropped into Tony's Bar fora drink. The barmaid was wonderful. Friendly and very informative giving us lots of tips of things to do around Kodiak. Not knowing what beer Tobit she gave us a couple of samples. There were some friendly locals in the bar which added to the merriment of the occasion.
