We visted the bar two nights over the weekend. We went in for a few drinks and when the restaurant upstairs couldn't fit us in for food we ate in the bar too. The food was good but it was the staff that made the visit most enjoyable. Very chatty and friendly and ensured we were always happy. Would return if in the area again.

A delightful light and airy restaurant - nicely decorated and very comfortable. I had a steak sandwich - delectable slices of thin cut steak with mushrooms, spinach and tomato on top of toasted bread with mustard Mayo - absolutely delicious! My husband had fish and chips with the freshest fish , gorgeous crispy batter and great chips! Excellent service and great value for money - what else could you ask for? Highly recommended!

Met up with family who asked for home cooked food and this place did not disappoint. The food was delicious meeting all our requirements. The service good and friendly. My steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The others in our company thoroughly enjoyed their food too with big smiles at the end of the meal, which was mellowed by whisky at the bar.

Been for a breakfast and an evening feed. Food is fresh cooked and tasty. Had an issue with burger bun size first time we went. This has now been addressed. The cook likes feed back as it makes sure you get a good experience. Staff in the pub are all friendly and good for a yap about the townDear Iflett Thank you for your review.
