After reading mostly positive reviews here, my wife and I were excited to try Boxers after a day of visiting Raystown Lake. We were promptly greeted when we walked in and enjoyed the atmosphere but unfortunately what offsets those positives are the small portion sizes that are not commensurate with prices.I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon for $9. I was disappointed to see how amusingly small the sandwich was and that it does not come with any sides, not even chips! I did mention to the waitress my disappointment but was told that this is just the way it is and I could order another.Needless to say, we went elsewhere to get more to eat after this meal. The sandwich was barely five bites worth. We did enjoy our beers and our waitress provided a little bit of nice conversation but I can't give this restaurant a good review due to the poor portion sizes.

After undergoing a complete renovation in 2018, the Village Tavern has become the exemplification of contemporary cabin style. Completed with a full bar, fresh pine walls, and a stone gas fireplace - its warm and welcoming atmosphere will surely fit any o
We stopped by on a cold snowy day. It was nice to sit by the fire place. Service was good. We all enjoyed in our food. Apparently, they had recently redone the look of the place. The inside was very nice. We loved the log cabin field.
We ate here several times this last weekend, all I can say is wow. As in the title, the food was great and with large portions. The staff was very personable and attentive. They have award winning wings and their cheese steaks are awesome. One of our party had the ham steak dinner and it was the size of his dinner plate, we all were blown away. River billies is a must eat at place.
We went on a Saturday in a snow storm. Luckily we were able to walk. Dinner was good and then we hung out for awhile at the bar. Service was OK. The place is small but fun.
