Went there to have a beer and shared a pastrami sandwich. Both tasty. Went back the next day because they had lasagna with salad and garlic bread for the daily special, and it's only offered on the daily special. Delicious home-made lasagna. Accompanying salad was very small but the blue cheese dressing was great and I wished I had ordered a real side salad. Garlic bread was good as well. Very happy to find this little hide-away, far from the touristy joints that offer ok food to tourists who may never return. The locals know this place and it's full of them. The prices are locals' prices, not tourists' prices. Absolutely stopping here again next time I am in Gold Beach!

This is first a bar with one of the beÅt beach views while sitting at the bar, even serving a locally brewed beer Arch Rock.That said you really need to test the limited menu fixed by Hank. I had the fish tacos sporting one of the best spicy sauces I've ever had and I've tried fish tacos at nearly every seaside restaurant that I can find all over the country.It really is a local hangout with all the local color that will bring. Try it, I think you'll like it.

This is a locals hangout, but when you arrive, you are treated like a local. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is right on the river and the food is good. The French Dip was huge, the meat tender and the au jus nicely flavored. The crowning glory was the fries. It seemed like they had a special crust on them as the outside was really crispy but the inside soft...The prices are very reasonable as well.

This place has a delicious Peanut Butter Thai Chili burger. I know it sounds weird, but it was absolutely mouth watering. The atmosphere is fun, too. Lots of nautical decorations, and a window that looks onto a flower- and plant-covered side of the hill. The other windows show a lovely view of the Rogue River. It makes you feel like you're dining in another-worldly sea cave.
