Loved our dinner the other night! We enjoyed the escargot, the broiled Parmesan oysters for starters. Fish Tacos and Filet for entrees, and took some delicious homemade apple pie home for dessert! The filet was cooked just right, and my hubby is pretty particular about how his steak is prepared! The fish tacos were full of flavor, loved the sauce. The service was top notch... friendly, attentive.

Beer was excellent! Started here on a brewery tour of Pendleton Pike. I want to go back. The food looks awesome. The beer is very good and the atmosphere is very warm. Old building remodeled to look like an old building...lots of brick, wood, etc. It just felt comfortable. And for sure, if you like trains, they have one go by every 20 or 30 minutes...the place is practically on the tracks. They go whizzing by at 40 mph or more.

Took colleagues to Fortville for dinner. We shared escargot and a shrimp toast as appetizers. 2 in the party had the Red Drum fish special, 1 had a beef filet an I had a ribrye. Dinner was done to perfection; substitutions happily accommodated. We split apple and pecan pie--made by the chef's mother! A bottle of wine was the perfect accompaniment for a delightful meal and evening.

On a very rainy Saturday afternoon, my newly minted 21 year old GD wanted to go to the Wine Garage for a celebratory bottle. She chose a $13.99 bottle of red for the four of us to share. It met our birthday expectations! A combo of seats for about 20 people was featured as a gathering place for friends. The garage doors were up, and the shelves were lined with a broad selection of full wine bottles. Although we had already eaten, food was available to order.
