We were looking for a meal and found the Au X nestled down a side street just off the main drag.. Very good quality food and a wide selection of Belgian beers on offer.... Choice of inside or streetside tables added to the ambience on a very warm September evening

Unsure how we stumbled upon this place, other than it was open later than other venues in Veurne.I was in an utter vile mood due to anger at a person, and had to be placated by a work colleague. Bar man was fairly rude. Itâs so bright in here, one requires sun glasses, and the amount of flies in here were incredible.

Very pleasant Bar on the Promenade with friendly, welcoming Management and staff. Serving some excellent food....suggest trying their Mussels a La Creme, a delight, or a Lunchtime snack, their Tomato Soup served with tasty Croutons and Cheese...very messy to eat but wonderful.Also has Beach front Terrace for outdoor eating.
