Orwood resorts main attraction is its location at the boat launch. it is very casual with guest coming by car and boat. One can eat indoors or on one of the patios. Dogs are allowed on the patios. This is a place for jovial vacation fun not for gourmet food. We have gone both in our boat and by car. The menu is basic burgers, fish and chips, and sandwiches. There is a full bar. It is crowded with little aisle space. A wheelchair can get in but it is hard to do. We go to enjoy the casual camaraderie and to watch the boat in and outs more than for the food.

Visiting in California, and after some shopping, we stopped in for a glass of wine and a nosh. It was happy hour and four lovely wines were $5.00 a glass AND not a a paltry half glass, a nice, respectfully filled wine glass! We had the cheese and meat plate and garlic bread, both plentiful and good. This little bar has mostly outdoor seating with fireplaces at each table grouping. The bartender couldn't have been nicer. I think his name was Eric. I probably won't be back for a long while, but when I do return to Brentwood, I will definitely stop by the Vin and Grain.

We came here for lunch. I wasn't very hungry, so I just got a speciality salad. They give a pretty good size portion. I asked for no onions, dressing on the side, with different items on the side. She got everything right with my requests. Normally, my servers can't follow my add and subtractions, but our server was right on the mark. I love the atmosphere here!
