Hadn't been for a few years....and we're glad we went back. There is a lot more patio space now and the place is bustling. Service was good and there were lots of beer choices. I had the chicken club on flatbread. It was huge and very good. My daughter and husband both had the burger and it did not disappoint The atmosphere and service were great. Thanks Emmi. It is definitely a good choice if you are in Picton.

The County Canteen is Picton's First Brewpub. We celebrate the Bounty of County with a County-only wine list, 23 local and Ontario wide beers on tap, locally made desserts and awesome county hospitality. We are open from 11:30am till late with our kitchen

Had lunch here and then just drinks the next night. Service on both occasions was very good. The food is good but nothing special. The selection of beers is superb and the atmosphere is also good. Pleasant to sit outside if itâs warm enough !

This started out ok. Nice spot, fairly busy but still had empty tables. Our server Steph, was friendly and had all the answers. Drinks came fairly quick and orders were taken. 40 minute wait until food started to show up. 3 zucchini soup that were just ok for 21$. Didnt even think to check price on soup, nothing cheaper than zucchini. Moving along at about hour most of the mains showed up except my sons pizza that was another 20 minutes. Most of us had finished by then so he eat along and feeling like he was holding us up. They did take it off the bill thank goodness because I would not have said for it. More crust showing than toppings. 3 and 4 inches of bare crust in spots. Lowry he never finished it. My $18 cheeseburger was good but that's about all I got on it with some shredded lettuce. No tomato, no pickle no mustard. Fries were tiny little piece's, tiny! My wife had hotdog was good. Daughter had pulled pork on corn bread and it was very good. Over all wound not go back. To slow, to expensive for the food. Need to work on expediting, everyone should be served and eat together. Disappointed for a $140. Lunch with tip.

This spot is always busy. Good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Melanie looked after us on the patio. Great service and friendly. Try their Witness brew. Citrus base with crisp finish. Ordered the pretzel. Not worth $5. Was just ok but small. Overall we will return again.
