The central market or the fish of a city is always mandatory stop. Porto Alegre is no different. Building in 1869, has suffered fires and revolutions, but keep standing, serving the population. The variety is ok, but some pastries were just tasteless. But the savoury products were amazing, especially the ones with cheeses. The pies and cakes counter are mostly with sugary pieces, without a 'wow' factor. The complimentary wine is bad. But the service is well intentioned and friendly.Thank you for rating us.Your comments are really welcome, we will take them as the way we can improve our service.Hugs from the Bela Vista family.

We strolled here and LOVED it. We got the shrimp cupcakes (camarao cuptecos) - phenomenal. A fried pastry with meat gorgonzola cheese (croqete de carne c/ gorgonzola) - amazing. We finished off with the meat, cheese and fries plate (under the traditionals section). We also got some drinks. We spent around $100 real. The meals are for 2 people.
