Upstairs restaurant with balcony seating, eclectically styled with traditional Goan momentos. Warm and engaging staff serve wonderfully tasty local dishes. Yum.

If itâs your first time in Panjim, then thereâs no better place than Viva Panjim for authentic Goan cuisine. I had the Pigling Torradinho - which was deliciously meaty. The Prawn curry cooked in a delightfully spicy coconut gravy (although it was rather lacking in the quantity of prawns). And the highlight of my meal was the Bebinca - a Goan dessert that needs no introduction and should not be missed!

I've been kind with my rating because this is a pleasant place to sit. Our lunch was average - we shared a plate of fried calamari for starter and then followed with prawns in garlic butter. The prawns came covered in a strange thick sauce, definitely not just butter and garlic. Although I queried it the manager insisted it was butter and garlic. Both were ok but nothing special. The manager tried hard to please but was a little over attentive. There are no prices showing on the dishes listed on the specials board so make sure you ask. A bit overpriced for what is served up.

This restaurant is just opposite Mary Immaculate Conception church. Its a small place but has both ground plus Ac hall above. If you are not in a hurry then this place is fine as the orders take at least 30 minutes. We had ordered fish curry and rice. The food was not hot when served but little warm. Food was tasty though. Not much to write about this place as its always crowded being very close to the iconic church.
