Run into the Castello as we were looking for a place to eat Pizza close by. As the other place in Staufen had horrible reviews we naturally came here. The interior is simply put "typical German" as there is nothing special here. This place could serve Mexican, German, Spanish, Greek, whatever food and you wouldn't see a difference upon walking in. So don't be too surprised.Service was really nice. The Italian waiter made an effort to make us feel welcome. Nice touch. Now the food/pizza would have been very nice, if they simply wouldn't do it on a pastry sheet (my guess) as the pizza was kinda wet inside and the dough not well done. The taste however was very good and therefore I would say that if they figure out the pizza baking this could be a potential 4-star place.

The Pizzeria Rosanero in Bad Krozingen offers Italian food and Italian flair in a small locality right in the heart of Bad Krozingen
One of the best Bad Krozingen restaurants, a small, but ver cosy italian restaurant. I`ve eaten there 3-4 times and every meal was excellent. I recommend pizza and lamb chops, both dishes are very good and have decent prices. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the owners are there all the time, looking to please every client. I`ll come back for sure if i have the oportunity.
Da Pietro is an Italian fellow who moved to Sulzburg about a decade ago and carved (literally) his little pizza parlor out of the basement of the home he purchased. The interior is incredibly cozy & cute, with only three tables nestled into huge boulder-built walls. When the weather is nice, there are also three or four tables just outside. We've eaten here at least 20 times over the past decade and it is always a favorite and never disappoints. His pizza is absolutely authentic, baked in a brick oven that is wood fired. There is a large range of pizzas available, though my favorite is the special Da Pietro. As a change of pace from the region's excellent wines, we often order a bottle of Lambrusco just to complete the feel of being in Italy. This is a great place to gather with friends in a warm and inviting location for some great food.
