Our establishment is Sion's oldest Italian restaurant. Located five minutes away from the city center and the train station, at the intersection of the valley routes d'Hérens and de Nendez, between the two highway exits, near the Tourbillon stadium. On th
I went there a couple of times, as this place used to be the reference in matter of pizzeria in Sion, at least for the south side of the city. This is one of the only pizzeria with wood oven pizzasUnfortunately the ingredients on the pizza are not the best, canned mushrooms, cheap ham... Service is great though for taking orders, a bit slow to get the bill and pay...Still good place to eat, specially with terrasse outside on main place

We came for the birthday of my son. My conclusion is that this is an overrated Italian restaurant. There are many many mistakes including but not limited to - wine served nearly at the end of the plates, without excuses- nearly all dishes were not warm (pizzas), even nearly cold (meat)- they kept confusing the plates with other tables (it happened also for our neighbor tables), and we were so annoyed that we kept one of the wrongly served dishes (a pita instead of a focaccia)- dishes not served at the same time at all (I was nearly done when one party at the table received his dish)- pasta were not cooked properly. - and all very expensive! - oh and desserts were clearly industrial Now on the good side: - the place is nice- there is a kids corner with video games, a babyfoot and a movie - they did do a song for our birthday boy So, this confirms what we knew from the Nyon and Lausanne Luigia, they start well, impress people with âfresh products â, pretend to be Italian by talking only a few words in Italian, but then the service , prices and food quality ruins it. Go to other authentic Italians in the area, such as La Belle Ombre in Bramois, La Luge in Les Collons or Capri in Sierre !Dear Customer. We are sorry to read your comment. As you know we just opened and nothing can be perfect since the beginning. Our service wants to be efficient and professional and if that wasnât the case, we do apologize about it. Itâs a shame you didnât mention anything to your waiter while you were there. He would have react immediately. Luigia is a family owned company. We are Italians and proud of it. We want to share our passion for Italy with you all, by offering a homemade cuisine, made out of fresh products (including our deserts which are totally homemade). We invite you to come back and I will be pleased to share with you our vision and to make sure your visit will be unforgettable. With my best regards, Francesco Dimasi, restaurant manager.
