Pizzeria restaurant open all year around, meals prepared by the owner , located in the village of Landudec , 15 km from Quimper, on the road to Pointe du Raz
This place certainly looks the part of a traditional auberge, and has been run by family members for generations in this village. Surprisingly, the main part of the auberge was not set out for meals and we were directed to a conservatory extension on the rear. The lady taking our order was delightful and helpful, and did her best to speak English to explain the cream ingredient on the pizza. We said we did not want cream on 3 pizzas but it still came with it on two of them! Surprisingly, there was a choice of vegetarian pizzas, which was great for us, unfortunately our youngest had the child's pizza which we asked for with just cheese and it came with ham as well. The pizzas were cooked in a traditional wood oven, and were acceptable but not great: a nice base but too many vegetables. We booked a table for 4 on a Friday evening, but by 8pm when we left it was not busy so this probably was not necessary. They also do takeaway pizza.

Modest crêperie in the village centre that also serves steak, fries and omelettes, menus and non industrial ice-creams made in Brittany.
It's very simple: There's only one place to eat in Poullan. Go and eat there. A fantastic range of crepes and galettes, with a cook that goes all the way. By far the best galette we had in Bretagne was her coquilles St Jacques a ses vegetables cuites, creamy sweet leek and mushrooms. We went back and had it again. If Marie is serving, ask for a flambée, or bette, four... and it doesn't cost much either. Serving can be improved, but it only recently re-opened with a new owner.Hey ! Will pass on the message to Marie, thanks ! Thank you for your patience whilst we learn the trade and so glad you enjoyed it ! See you next time.
