Community Oven is a wood fired Pizza oven that does the rounds in the Wealden area of East Sussex. Friday night it is in Heathfield, check the website for their other locations. This is proper wood fired Pizza from a converted Horse box they make cook and serve the Pizza. Their menu is short but well selected with interesting and tasty options. The prices are good too. Way tastier than the other chain pizzas. I called up in the morning to book mine as it can get very busy, but don't worry if it does, pop into Cuculo Deli for a glass of wine while you wait. I'll be back. 5-8.30 PM Fridays in Heathfield.

If you want a burger, a pizza, a kebab, etc. youâll find it here and it wonât be bad, in fact quite enjoyable. But none of them will be great, or even very good. Thatâs the problem when you donât specialise.

My son orders a lot from Dominoâs in Heathfield for delivery, and every time there is always a problem. Wrong order, items missing, rude delivery drivers and tonight his pizza was cold as well as items missing. Very hard to speak to anyone on the phone. Iâve complained via their survey site, but nothing changes.

Il Vesuvius is one of my favourite places to eat. You are treated like a long lost friend when you arrive, the service is attentive and friendly and the food!! Try the Pollo alla crema di funghi - absolutely wonderful! The food is always exceptionally good and very reasonably priced. No better way to spend an evening with friends or family!
