The town got its name from its location on the island Marstrandsön. Marstrand is, despite its small population, for historical reasons often still referred to as a city (today however, Statistics Sweden, only counts localities with more than 10,000 inhabitants as cities). Recently the town has expanded to the neighbouring island Koön, which has bridge access to the mainland.

We were happy to find a restaurant open since our late arrival in the harbour of Marstrandsson. We had four different pizzas, and would especially recommend the New Orleans and Seafood/Shrimp pizza. The Parmasan pizza which the waiter recommended was however a bit boring. There were several outdoor seatings with heat lamps in atmospheric environment in the backyard.

Närheten gör att vi köper hämtpizza här ibland. Vi tycker inte de är de godaste pizzorna vi ätit men helt ok ändå. De har snabb service.

Eftersom det inte finns så många matställen i Rönnäng så blir pizzerian populär. De andra restaurangerna måste det bokas bord och därmed högre pris. Maten helt ok och personalen jobbade på bra. Vihade väntetid på ca 45 min. p.g av mycket folk som förbeställt. Ett råd är att inte vara alltför hungrig och att förbeställa maten.
