Last year I passed on this place but thought that I would give it a try this time around. The staff was really nice. No complaints about anyone working there. The food there is pricey, but so is everything in Niseko Village. My crew ordered the chorizo jalapeno pizza with a couple of Sapporo Classic and it was the bomb. Super delicious. We wanted to order more, but the price was the issue. Rocked up to the restaurant with no booking and got a table straight away, while Oktoberfest directly opposite has a large queue. I had a hankering for pizza, which is why I went to the Italian, and when looking at then options they were very Japanese orientated, I love Japanese food...just not on a pizza. When asking for a 'make your own' pizza comprising of items that were listed in other pizzas on the menu I was told that I ours only order pizzas that were on the menu....why?! The pizzas are made fresh so why the chef couldn't add a bit of mushroom and bacon to my margarita dumbfounded me. More than likely it was due to the waiter not being able to punch it in to his ordering computer and couldn't be bothered to go to the chef and tell him the order to his face.To be fair The quality of the pizza was good but not for 1900 yen, you can get the exact same pizza from a small cafe downstairs from the restaurant for 1250 yen! Total rip off!The service really excelled we came to pay the staggeringly expensive bill only to be told by the waiter who collected our cheque and yen that the cashier was busy and we would have to wait and pay on the way out.he was clearly too busy serving the other 2 tables in the ghost town of a restaurant. In my view avoid at all costs, go to Daniels or the steamboat cafe for a better value and same quality pizza!
