We liked our lunch there last Sunday and fully recommend Trattoria Da Stella. The place is casual and pleasant. Italian menu with selection of pizza, pasta, salads and main courses. I took waitress' recommendation of chicken salad and that was very good choice. My wife had penne with spinach, which was OK although not exceptional. They also have good coffee. The staff and the chef - who is presumably Italian - are nice and helpful. The location on the side street near the railway station is also very convenient. I can see it as perfect place both for casual business lunch as well as evening dinner with some drinks.Be aware that they are closed on Monday â we came back there next day after our lunch and were disappointed to see it closed. We will surely come back whenever visiting Kedzierzyn-Kozle.

First impressions, yes this place looks nice, we took a seat in a booth. Second impressions, not good, told to move as the table is reserved despite being no sign. The waitress was devoid of customer service skills, apparently it's common in Poland due to the low wages the poor girl is on. Second blip, main courses were brought before starters, I was sat waiting for my starter while others finished their meal. Putting aside the customer service slip ups from the girl who couldn't crack a smile, the food was very nice for what I had. I would return despite the frosty reception of the waitress who would rather not have customers to help fund her low wages.
