We wanted a quick âlightâ meal after we had walked the boardwalk in Duck (we were attending a wedding that evening so did not want to eat too much). We both had a slice of the meat lovers pizza. Several different pizzas were available under a heating lamp so we picked our slices, a drink and paid for them, all within a minute or two. They do have other selections which need to be prepared but we wanted the quickness of the slice of pizza. The pizza was good and if you are looking for something quick, this is a good place. The inside seating is very limited but they have tables just outside the building.

Family friendly surf village pizza parlour on the beautiful northern shores of the Outer Banks. Best Pizza in town!
We were up for just a night of pizza in our room after a long day at Jockeyâs Ridge & the Wright Brothers National Memorial and decided to give them a try because we could order online and avoid the wait. Except for the hiccup due to the ordering system (and who hasnât had an unexpected upgrade impact adversely) it was a good choice. The staff and (new) owner were great. The food was even better!Give these folks a try if you have an urge for pizza (they have other choices, we had pizza!)

We are here on vacation, and this was our first full night here. Stormy weather made us decide to stay in and have delivery. I called Southern Shores Puzza around 6:30 on Friday eve. The girl that took the order was very pleasant and thorough. We ordered a small puzza with onions and pepperoni and a cheese steak sub. The pizza was excellent, good flavor, nicely cooked, the edges just a little doughy. The sub was perfect size, tender meat and a nice balance of bread vs, meat. Onion rings were excellent too! The delivery guy was very nice, I felt bad because he stepped in a huge puddle at the base of our stairs from all the rain, it didnât cramp his cheerful spirit. We will definitely go/delivery with them and I recommend you too!!

So we ordered Italian sausage on our lg pizza. Typically sweet sausage is used; not here. OMG WAS IT HOT! 5 hours later my stomach is still burning. I told them I wasnât paying for a pizza we couldnât eat. She threatened me with calling the cops because â they always come in hereâ. She then gave me a few dollars off while trying to escalate the issue. Yelling at me while I stood there trying to pay for food we couldnât eat. It was my fault, she said, for ordering sausage. Donât go. Donât give them your money. These people are bitter. Obviously they have had other problems.
