Went to Rosenthal's for a Friday night dinner. Having never been here before, the location was easy to find from local map and there was ample parking. Inside was very clean and well decorated, with a large bar and plenty of high top and low tables for seating. We sat down and were promptly greeted by a server who took our drink order. Rosenthal's offers a Friday night fish fry (broiled or fried) with choice of potato, coleslaw, and bread. For an upcharge, you can substitute soup or salad for the coleslaw. They also offer sandwiches, wraps and burgers, as well as what I call "supper club dinners" (ribs, steaks, walleye, shrimp, pasta, chicken dinners ranging from $15-$29) and also make homemade pizza. Pizza pricing ranges from $10 for cheese to $30+ for multiple topping pizza. (They do offer the option of a 10" gluten free pizza.) I enjoyed the BLT and my partner had the fish fry. Both were very good! We each had a beer @ $5.00 each. Overall, we enjoyed the service and the food, but have eaten at other places more economically priced in the area. As a sidenote, I did check Rosenthal's website and they do explain that their burgers are fresh never frozen, and their produce is fresh (not mass produced) and the cheese on their pizza comes right from Burnett Dairy.

We stopped to treat my sister-in-law to a birthday lunch and were told that we had a choice between broasted chicken and pizza. We chose the chicken. It was good but it was chicken. The specials listed on the board were for the evening meal. So then don't list them at lunch time. Waitress was excellent. Not sure we will go back - will choose something with more choices.

We had been staying away from this former Northwoods favorite after some bad meals. Friends told us there were new owners and the food was good again so we gave it a try.The pizza was very good with a really tasty very thin crust. The burger was ok but overdone. The waitress did not know what a martini was or the difference between up and on the rocks, so some training needed on that front. For the number of people there, the food took a very long time, but they seem to be improving. We will likely go back.
