We arrived on Sunday an hour before the place opened and found the door locked. As we left and started putting the grandkids back into the car the owner, Al, opened the door and called us in. He asked what we wanted and took great care of us while we waited. He was great with our group and interacted with every other customer that came in. You'll feel welcome and relaxed if you get the chance to stop by for a meal.

Mike is good at what he does. Old school pizza. I am one of his usual Thursday customers for a pie for the family. Always fresh, always hot! To those that complain about eating with strangers and are expecting world class 5 star dining rooms? It's a pizza & pasta restaurant in a small town.

I had such high hopes for this restaurant, but perhaps they became too big too quickly. The quality dropped off fast and even a simple take-out order kept turning into a game of "Oh, we forgot to put your order in" and we'd wait for 45 minutes or we'd wait and get cold food, then be told it was our fault for ordering off the restaurant menu.We just couldn't win with this place any way we tried, which is unfortunate. Would have loved a really good pizza place even in this city because where I'm from, you can't throw a stone without hitting one, but even the restaurant side just doesn't deliver at all.It's worth the drive to go to Oneonta for better food, but in Cobleskill, I think you'll get the best bang for your buck at Chieftan's. Just make sure you tell them to season whatever meat you are ordering. The bar food is great, however. If you like true Italian, you won't find it in Cobleskill.

This Pizza Hut is truly a gem! Beautiful stain-glass fixtures, wood paneling, and nice artwork help transport their patrons to believe that they have stepped back into the 70s. Good wings, plenty of pizza options and a small buffet (which is why i only gave them a 4 rating). They need a major revamping of their salad bar!
