We had hoped to eat in our hotel, but as the restaurant was fully booked, we headed into town and selected this restaurant, where we received a very warm welcome from the proprietor who spoke good English. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of red wine, as recommended to us, and our pasta and pizza was delicious. We were a little disappointed that the only desert on the menu had run out - home made tiramisu - bit other than that we enjoyed our visit.

Ich liebe es, einen gut gemachten Döner zu essen. Im Norden von Deutschland ist es jedoch nicht so einfach einen guten zu finden. Besonders wenn man die Qualitäten aus Berlin kennt.Hier in Cloppenburg konnte ich seit langen einen wirklich guten Döner Essen. Selbst gemachter Teig, der ausgerollt wird wie eine Pizza und dann mit den typischen Zutaten bestückt wird. Sehr lecker. Für meinen Geschmack nur etwas zu viel Petersilie drin. Kleiner Tipp, es reicht aus wenn man einen kleinen Kebab bedtellt! Er unterscheidet sich kaum vom Mittleren oder vom GroÃen. Man wird auch bei groÃen Hunger satt.Das Personal ist auch unter hohem Gästeaufkommen sehr freundlich und super professionell. Ohne jegliche Notizen konnte sich der nette Herr über 20 verschiedene Bestellungen merken. Wow!Dadurch es hier wirklich klasse schmeckt, kommen viele Gäste. Daher muss man etwas mehr Zeit mitbringen.

Bistro Pizza is in Cloppenburg Lange Strasse serving good food for over 30 years. Ideal for families offering a wide range of food from soup,baguettes,pizza's,pasta dishes,wide choice of salads,burgers so something on the menu for everyone. Friendly staff serving tables inside and outside. I can recommend the cocktails also very cheap compared to your normal price. They also offer delivery service which is efficient too. Been using this place for years.

Everyone can make it. Very few can get the flavour just right.Now, being Scottish, I'm used to lean beef steak mince in a good lasagne. I think the mice in the lasagne at Gianni was pork, but you know, it didn't matter. The pasta was just right, the sauce was a combination of creamy and full of flavour and with the perfect combination of ingredients, I doubt I will order lasagne elsewhere for some time, for fear of being disappointed.The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team who are very friendly and helpful. Service is rapid too. Price is very good for such a high standard of food and service.
