I was hopeful when I saw the name. I thought what a great concept. It fell flat for me. The 'crust' of the personal pizza didn't seem like a pretzel at all. The toppings were a little on the salty side. I was disappointed.Hi Marie, I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with our pizza :(. We are a seasonal operation and we open from may 15th to September 15th each year. I noticed your review was on October 9th ? so I'm just wondering if you were actually at Monty's and if not maybe you will consider giving us a try next spring :)

The restaurant was pretty empty when we got there, they seated us pretty quickly and took our orders quickly but we waited over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Our waitress was very friendly. We ordered the handheld donairs, one with pasta salad and one with poutine. The donairs and poutine were great but the pasta salad was not very good. It lacked flavour. Portion sizes were very good and the price was good too.

Back to visit the old homestead in Bathurst and thought I would get a traditional Donair at Greco. Not at all like I remember them to be. Sauce was ok but the pita bread was crunchy and the meat was over cooked. Was suppose to be a quarter pound of meat but I think their scales must have been broken because it was definitely not a quarter pound. My childhood dreams have been shattered...some things shouldn't change but unfortunately they do.
