Kajjal was opened by Sean Collender and Shoaib Yunus in October 2007 and has been warmly welcomed by the people of Malahide. Kajjal's aim is to provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a consistently good standard of food and service.
With so many restaurants local to us in Malahide it says something that this is always our first choice, returning at every opportunity. Warm welcome, lovely setting. Flavours of all dishes are absolutely wonderful especially if you like spices. Mansoor, Muneeb, Julia and the rest of the team ensure excellent attentive service. No wonder you need to reserve a week or two in advance. Keep it upMany thanks for your kind comments! We look forward to seeing you soon.

At Taza (Fresh in Urdu) we endeavour to give you a great dining experience. Chef Arshad has created a great menu with some of the old classics and some modern twists. Our food is backed up by knowledgeable and friendly floor staff who will take care of yo
Went to Taza on Sat after be planning to visit for ages due to all the great reports. Called on the day and were lucky to get a cancellation. Food did not disappoint. We had the sharing starter which was really good, would have liked some more sauces with it but meat were full of flavour. For mains I had the lamb shank, waitress warned it was spicy and it certainly was, really enjoyed it. Wife had prawn korma and loved it. A really great addition to the area and canât wait to come back and try some of the other dishes. Service was excellent and great buzz in the place. My only complaint was my wife order a side of chips with her main and I couldnât believe it when we got the bill as we were charged â¬6 for a small bucket of chips which were mainly bits of grease which we couldnt eat. How anyone could charge â¬6 for a portion of chips is beyond me and this should be looked at.

Called in here for the first time recently and it did not disappoint. The food was amazingly good. Starter of beef was lovely and spicy, with a nice raita and then a beautiful lamb main course. I canât recommend the Badam Kishmish Nan highly enough. Such a fantastic nan bread. Will definitely be back soon to try more of their menu.

This was our regular takeaway but after 2 very bad experiences recently, we will never go back. Last Saturday night, we waited 2 hours for our takeaway, tried ringing repeatedly but the phone was off the hook. Eventually drove up to them to see where it was and there had been a "technical fault" and our order was lost. After ruining our entire evening and not eating until 10.30 at night with our guests, restaurant ONLY charged us 20 euro instead of 35 for the meal. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and we wont ever be back.
