We were wandering in Konstanz and felt somewhat peckish. So we popped in for a snack, but had no reservation. The restaurant was full but they managed to seat us.The kitchen was fast, and the food quality was really good. And the bill: a pizza, a macaroni dish, two large beers and two ouzos: 20 euros!

Ikram's Restaurant

It was a random decision to enter this restaurant but it was definitely a very good one. The service was fast. The cold and warm mezes we tried were pretty delicious. For the main dish, we went for a mixed grill plate, which included kafta (good), lamb (really delicious), beef (pretty delicious as well) and chicken (so soft and tender). It is not exactly a cheap restaurant but it is worth the price. The place seemed busy to me so it makes sense to reserve a place beforehand.

This is probably one of the worst food i ever had in my life.Just cause the prices are "cheap" compared to other restaurants in thisover prized city called Konstanz, it doesn't mean you can serve low quality meals like that.1. Cigar Boerek (however you call it) extremely average with the lowest quality of cheese u can find.2.Grilled veggies overpriced and the yoghurt sauce from the can to the plate without any spices.and another dish which was offered on the menu as something like meat n cheesebut it took me half an hour to find the meat inside. Most ridiculous place i have ever been.At least the young waiter been friendly.Even he been quite surprised after listening to my opinion about their food.In any other part of the world this restaurant wouldnt survive for even a month.

Ali Baba Imbiss

Ali Baba is a small shop with about seven tables and they offer Doner, pizza, pide, salads and beverages among other items. The staff person was friendly as I placed my lunch order for a Doner (5€). The staffer prepared fresh bread and asked if I wanted everything on the Doner. I informed him I did not want onions and that I wanted cocktail sauce, not the garlic sauce. I excused myself to use their facilities and returned and my Doner was on my table. First thing I noticed was that there were onions on the Doner. I started to just pick then off and then the staff person stated he forgot not to place onions on the Doner. As I took my second bite into the doner I then realized not only had he put onions on the doner, but he also put on the garlic sauce. I took the rest of the Doner to the counter to pay and leave. He asked me if I did not like the Doner and I stated I did not. A couple of items of note: I did not like the quality/taste of the Doner (even with the onions & garlic sauce), secondly he did not charge me for the Doner, which was the main reason I gave this business 2* instead of a terrible rating. I was very disappointed that this staffer, to be sitting in a chair at the back of the restaurant and waiting for one of the first lunch customers of the day that he seemed so distracted or there was a lack of interest in getting my order correct.
