Steaks and kebabs, salads and appetizers, signature dishes and desserts. Open 7 days a week. Online reservation and online ordering services are available. Weekends live music and Belly dancing show.
A friend recommended this Uzbeki restaurant to us, and it was definitely worth the drive from the western suburbs. Our first foray into Uzbeki cuisine was a total pleasure here. Even on a weeknight, the atmosphere was convivial and festive. The very friendly servers were great about explaining the dishes and we tried a variety, all of which were truly delicious: mustava soup, beef manti (filled dumplings), meat samsas (very similar to samosas), chicken and lamb kebabs, and a beautiful grilled whole branzino. It's a BYO so we brought wine; the majority of the other diners brought vodka, and so will we next time. Our tab was ridiculously low. Overall, Samarkand was a treat.Thank you very much for your feedback, it means a lot to us!

A very pleasant surprise! Their food has great flavor. Our main dishes were tasty--chicken kebob with couscous and shrimp scampi in a creamy wine sauce. The chicken rice soup was also delicious. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is comfortable and cozy. However, the menu is somewhat limited; the chef is so good that I'd like to see the menu expanded.

My local hosts recommended the Judah Burger and they were right! It was delicious and large, accompanied by my choice of two sides. The desserts looked delicious but we were too full to think about it. Kosher, and comfortable for all. Would love to return and try their other choices,
